Her background has included several department / company start-ups as well as financial system conversions. She is accustomed to finding areas for improvement, establishing procedures, creating financial models, as well as the day to day General Accounting duties. She has also trained and mentored associates on monthly close, reconciliation, YE Audit, forecasting, Annual Plan, advanced Excel functionality and fixed assets.
She has a proficient understanding of many software packages and hardware. Finance has become a more technologically integrated group, her background in IT and finance continues to be extremely beneficial – particularly since most companies will convert their financial system every 6-10 years. This combined background enables her to liaison between IT and corporate management within a financial framework.
Elizabeth began her career in the Credit Office with Neiman Marcus in 1993, learning world class customer service and credit skills then expanded this knowledge working with Corus Bank in their IT division gaining financial analysis, telecommunication and IT experience. This knowledge has enabled her to liaison between both financial and technical environments. She has worked with a variety of companies including marketing and financial advising and in 2003 went on her own to establish her company.
Thru her corporation, Elizabeth gives back to her local community. She enjoys working with and educating individuals on financial skills and best practices. Today, she leads financial classes through Crown Financial Ministries to better equip individuals for their financial future. She also enjoys art, travel, cooking and spending time with her family & friends.
